 Happy New Year !

Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy and prosperous 2007!

We want to express our thanks to you for the succesful co-operation we had in the year 2006. Let's try to make 2007 even more succesful. On our side, we will do our utmost best to serve you again.

New Grauel Website

We are proud to present our renewed website! Besides a complete new styling that fits the Grauel and AAE profile, we are happy to inform you that now we can show you more about our products and possibilities.

At grauel.de, you can see short videos of the stan- dardised Grauel machine concepts; read more about the "ins" and "outs" of dry offset, flexo technology and other printing techniques, or see the direct overview of our ink & accessoires program. The up-to-date safety data sheets can be retrieved at the download-area where you can also find useful information about our feeding and handling technology program.

Besides printing we also give you more insight in our capabilities with respect to state-of-the art assembly machines. Typical processes like leakage testing, welding, vision systems, are highlighted. Just take a look at  www.grauel.de and find out for yourself!

MEDTEC 2007

The show must go on... and we all are part of it! Therefore we invite you to MEDTEC 2007. This year the fair will be held from February 27th - March 1st, in Stuttgart (Germany). Our booth is located in the main hall 5, in the assembly platform. Mr. Kaj Nijboer and Mr. Ruud Schenning will attend this years show in behalf of the Grauel team. Would you like to receive free tickets or do you want to schedule a meeting with us? Just click here or simply send an E-mail with your full name and address. See you at MEDTEC!

Cut and Seal

Developing and manufacturing print heads and printing machines is not the only activity of Grauel. Over the last years we built a big variety of assembly machines, based on our modular machine concepts.

Everybody knows the plastic nozzles that are mounted on bottles containing all kinds of cleaning foams. A liquid is pumped through a very fine plastic mesh, with the foam as a result. Grauel has developed and produced the equipment to run 120 parts per minute.

The nozzles are first fed by a bunker elevator and a small centrifugal feeder, which orientates all parts in the same direction. A linear vibratory feeder overtakes the products out of the bowl and offers them to a separator and High Speed Dual Handler that places the parts into one of the 16 pockets of an indexing table, where the assembly processes take place.

The fine mesh is automatically being unwinded as a taped reel and transferred to a sharp cutting station, where a square is cut out of the tape and directly placed into the nozzle, and welded using ultrasonic technolo- gy. In the next station the presence and position of the mesh is checked, the nozzle is closed and unloaded from the machine.

Technical Polymer Printing

A lot of revolutionary things are going on in the manufacturing market where technical polymers are gaining more market share every year. Just think of the OLED technology, where conductive polymers are printed on glass plates in very thin layers, creating fabulously powerful displays. It is said that within the next 10 years, all conventional light bulbs will be replaced by these long lasting displays. Grauel printing technology shows its value in these high volume, low cost production processes. Another similar application is the manufacturing of solar cell equipment where Grauel contributes with both screen print- and flexo technology to print on substrate like silicium plates and stainless steel meshfoils.
